About the photographer: (Kevin the verbose)

     I  became interested in photography in 1997 after coming across Frederick Yoehe's Someone is about to happen to you. Moved by the combination of photographs and words to describe two people  falling in love, separating, then living with regret; I started taking photographs in the hopes of capturing something as moving.. 

     I photograph for the joy of seeing negatives come from the development tank, for the challenge in making a print just so, and for the "nod" from models. I have tried to stop this hobby turned obsession. I have  put my camera on the shelf many times. But like one of Yoehe's lovers,  it calls out, forlorn and repentant....and I, a sucker, take her back with never a word of reproach.
